WALTER
Red Merle Stumpy Tailed Cattle Dog
Meet Walter (D250002) the 3 year old Stumpy Tailed Cattle Dog!
Walter is a super special boy on the lookout for a new home to call his own! What makes Walter so special? Well, Walter is Deaf. Yes, despite the size of those ears, they do not work! Walter is hoping to find a home that is prepared to work with a Deaf dog. Walter came to us as a stray, so we don't know anything about his past, but he has been able to spend some time in a Foster Home for respite.
Walter is a delight! Walter enjoys being around people and can settle nicely and relax during the day. Walter would suit a variety of homes, and may be okay with dog savvy, respectful children who understand he can't hear them approach. Though Walter enjoys meeting and playing with other dogs, he can get a bit bossy and pushy, so may be best suited as the only dog in his new home.
Walter would love it if his new home had a securely fenced backyard where he can lounge in the fresh air and snooze the afternoon away. Walter enjoys being around people and would love to be invited indoors so he can hang out with his humans. With minimal accidents during his time in Foster, it won't take him long to work out toilet training.
If you're ready to take on a Deaf dog filled with loyalty and love, Walter can't wait to meet you!
