Need a planning permit?
Planning permits are about how you use your land. It considers zoning, land use, heritage, and environmental impact.
Generally, a planning permit is required for:
- Changing the use of a property (for example, changing a shop to an office)
- Commercial or industrial developments
- Displaying business or promotional signage
- Requesting a waiver or reduction of car parking requirements
- Removing native vegetation
