A Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 15 September 2026 at 2:00pm to consider the following items:

• Adoption of the Councillors Statement of Expectations for the role of Mayor
• Election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor

The meeting will be held in the Council Boardroom, 90 Welsford Street, Shepparton.

The meeting will be open to members of the public to attend. A live stream of the meetings will also be made available, and can be accessed via Facebook and YouTube.

All care is taken to maintain your privacy; however, as a visitor in the public gallery, it is assumed that your consent is given in the event that your image is broadcast to the public. It is also assumed that your consent is given to the use and disclosure of any information that you share at the meeting (including personal or sensitive information) to any person who access those recordings or Minutes.

Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking community feedback in accordance with section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) of its intention to sell Lots 5 and 6 within Stage 2, GV Link, being part of the land at 250 Toolamba Road, Mooroopna (Proposal).

Stage 2 is the next stage of development of GV Link, in accordance with a long-term strategic objective of Council and the current zoning of the land.

The land that is the subject of the Proposal is Lots 5 and 6 in Stage 2, GV Link Enterprise Park , as generally shown on the GV Link Enterprise Park Master Plan below and being part of the land contained in Certificates of Title Volume 11071 Folios 690 and 695.

Lots 5 and 6 shown within Stage 2 on the Master Plan are indicative only, and the final lots created and sold may vary in size and/or dimension.

The Proposal is that Lots 5 and 6 in Stage 2 be sold by private treaty on terms including:

•        to purchasers which are business operators, manufacturers, producers, or persons of a like nature;

•        at a discount to market value, as an early mover advantage; and

•        in consideration of commitments from the purchaser(s) for the early development of part of the relevant lot(s).

As part of its community engagement process, Council is inviting submissions on the Proposal.

Any person wishing to make a submission must do so in writing by no later than 5pm on Friday 23 October 2026.

You can make a submission by emailing it to council@shepparton.vic.gov.au, completing it on online at https://shaping.greatershepparton.com.au/ or posting it by priority post to Greater Shepparton City Council, Locked Bag 1000, Shepparton VIC 3632.

Submissions should be titled ‘Notice of Intention to Sell Land – Lots 5 & 6, Stage 2 GV Link Enterprise Park, 250 Toolamba Road, Mooroopna’.

Submitters may also request in their submission that they wish to appear in person or online, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, in support of the submission at a meeting of Council on a date, time and place (including potentially online) to be determined by Council

The Council will notify such submitters of the meeting and/or online arrangements.

Following the consideration of any submissions, Council may decide to sell one or both of Lots 5 and 6 within Stage 2, or not to sell any land.

Any person making a written submission is advised that all submissions and personal information in the submission will be handled by Council in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.
