At his core, Baz is a gentle, food-loving sweetheart who simply wants to belong. He thrives in calm environments where he can feel safe and included. Once he knows he’s home, he’ll be your quiet shadow, always nearby, always devoted.

Because of his size and strength, Baz would do best in a secure home with older children or adults, and without cats, small animals, or livestock. His heart is soft, but his frame is strong — and he needs a family that understands and respects both.

He’s wonderful with other dogs who are relaxed and respectful — he’s not one for drama, preferring harmony over chaos. And while he’s not all about toys, he LOVES his food, which makes training both fun and effective. 3. The Shepparton Animal Shelter will contact you to talk about adopting. If the animal is available, an appointment will be made for you to attend the Shepparton Animal Shelter for a 'meet and greet', which can take about 30 minutes.

Adoption Commitment

The Shepparton Animal Shelter encourages new owners of adopted animals to consider their lifestyle and commitment carefully before adoption. We wish to see all adopted animals find their forever homes. However we understand that sometimes, an adoption does not work out. If you are no longer able to care for your adopted animal, for any reason, please contact the Shepparton Animal Shelter.

Adoption Guarantee

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is not acceptable to a purchaser because of health, physical or other reasons (excluding accidents), which is supported by a statement from a Veterinary practitioner, within seven days of purchase, the Animal Shelter will accept the animal back and refund the purchase price of the animal.

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is returned within three days for any other reason, the Animal Shelter will refund 75% of the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten dies or is euthanased as a result of a disease that is traceable to the point of sale, the Animal Shelter will refund the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
