Finn is a super sweet, gentle boy who is looking for his forever home. He’s a loving and affectionate cat who truly enjoys attention and adores gentle pats. Sometimes Finn takes a little while to approach for affection, but once he feels comfortable, he soaks it up completely and returns the love tenfold.

Finn has a calm, tender nature that would suit a quiet and peaceful home where he can feel safe and cherished. He enjoys cozy spots, relaxed company, and being close to the people he trusts, often following you around and quietly observing until he’s ready for cuddles. With patience and kindness, Finn blossoms into a devoted companion full of soft purrs and affection.

Veterinary note:

On examination, Finn was observed to have gingivitis, most notably affecting the canine teeth and extending to the premolar and molar regions. Gingivitis refers to inflammation of the gums, which may appear red or sore.

At this stage, no further diagnostic testing has been performed, so the underlying cause of his gingivitis has not been determined. Possible causes may include dental disease, inflammatory or immune-mediated conditions, infectious causes, or underlying systemic disease.

Finn is otherwise clinically well and is considered suitable for rehoming. By adopting Finn, you acknowledge that further veterinary follow-up, diagnostic testing, or treatment may be required in the future to manage his dental health.

Adoption Commitment

The Shepparton Animal Shelter encourages new owners of adopted animals to consider their lifestyle and commitment carefully before adoption. We wish to see all adopted animals find their forever homes. However we understand that sometimes, an adoption does not work out. If you are no longer able to care for your adopted animal, for any reason, please contact the Shepparton Animal Shelter.

Adoption Guarantee

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is not acceptable to a purchaser because of health, physical or other reasons (excluding accidents), which is supported by a statement from a Veterinary practitioner, within seven days of purchase, the Animal Shelter will accept the animal back and refund the purchase price of the animal.

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is returned within three days for any other reason, the Animal Shelter will refund 75% of the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten dies or is euthanased as a result of a disease that is traceable to the point of sale, the Animal Shelter will refund the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
