Disability Advisory Committee
The Greater Shepparton Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) was first established by Council in 2008. The purpose of the DAC is to provide a platform for advocacy and representation on issues relating to people living with a disability in the community.
The DAC supports and informs Council future directions relating to issues affecting those with a disability, informs good decision making and enhances inclusive practices across Council.
Greater Shepparton City Council supports the rights and aspirations of all community members regardless of their Disability.
The DAC plays a role in monitoring the implementation of the Greater Shepparton Universal Access & Inclusion Plan 2022-2026 (UAIP).
The Committee is made up of members who have a disability, carers, representatives from relevant Service Providers and a Councillor Representative.
The Disability Advisory Committee will operate in accordance with the Disability Advisory Committee 2022-2025 Terms of Reference.

Greater Shepparton City Council is calling for nominations from local residents for the Greater Shepparton Disability Advisory Committee.
Committee members meet at least five times per year from February to December each year.
Nominations for appointment to the committee will be received midnight on Friday 16 May 2025.
