Greater Shepparton City Council advises that Nixon Street and Harold Street are scheduled to commence stage two (South Nixon) between Friday 14 to Monday 17 October 2022 weather permitting.
As a result road closures will be required on Nixon and Harold Street for the works to be carried out, Works will primarily take place on South Nixon Street between Corio Street and Skene Street and Harold Street from Edward to Nixon. North Nixon Street (Stage one) will be reopened to traffic and parking with pedestrian access to be maintained at all times.
Works on stage two have a programed completion anticipated for early December 2022.
Residents and visitors are reminded to obey all road work and advisory signage, including any worker’s direction for your safety and the safety of others.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible. Motorists are also advised to obey all worksite and advisory signage including traffic controllers.
Council asks for residents to take care and be aware of traffic detours.
