Thomas is a handsome medium-haired ginger tabby and white kitten with the sweetest face and an even sweeter personality! 🥹🧡✨

When Thomas first arrived in our care, the big wide world was a pretty scary place for this little guy. 😿🌎 He was nervous, unsure and needed plenty of time to understand that he was safe. But with lots of patience, love and gentle encouragement, Thomas has come such a long way! 🥰🐾✨

These days, we’re seeing the beautiful personality hiding underneath all those initial nerves. 💕 Thomas has become an incredibly smoochy and sweet boy who absolutely melts into affection once he feels comfortable. 😽🧡 He loves having his people around and is showing us more and more of his gorgeous personality every day.

Because Thomas has worked so hard to build his confidence, his forever home will need to continue giving him the time, patience and TLC he needs as he makes the transition into adoption. 🏡🫶🐾 A calm, understanding family who will let him settle at his own pace will be incredibly important. With too much change or pressure too quickly, he may become timid and nervous again, so giving him a gentle and predictable start will help him feel safe and secure. 🌿💕

We know that with the right person by his side, Thomas will continue to blossom into the confident, affectionate boy we know he can be. 🥹🧡 He has already come so far, and now he just needs someone willing to walk the rest of the journey with him.

3. The Shepparton Animal Shelter will contact you to talk about adopting. If the animal is available, an appointment will be made for you to attend the Shepparton Animal Shelter for a 'meet and greet', which can take about 30 minutes.

Adoption Commitment

The Shepparton Animal Shelter encourages new owners of adopted animals to consider their lifestyle and commitment carefully before adoption. We wish to see all adopted animals find their forever homes. However we understand that sometimes, an adoption does not work out. If you are no longer able to care for your adopted animal, for any reason, please contact the Shepparton Animal Shelter.

Adoption Guarantee

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is not acceptable to a purchaser because of health, physical or other reasons (excluding accidents), which is supported by a statement from a Veterinary practitioner, within seven days of purchase, the Animal Shelter will accept the animal back and refund the purchase price of the animal.

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is returned within three days for any other reason, the Animal Shelter will refund 75% of the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten dies or is euthanased as a result of a disease that is traceable to the point of sale, the Animal Shelter will refund the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
