RiverConnect
RiverConnect is a community partnership program that aims to foster the community’s love, respect and connection to the river environment.
Rivers and waterways are the arteries of our landscape, and together we can increase the
- Care of;
- Access to;
- Awareness of; and
- Participation in, the river environment and our shared cultural heritage.
Through RiverConnect, this is achieved through
- Engagement events;
- A vibrant education program;
- And collaborative projects.
RiverConnect engages with many partners, and is jointly funded by the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority and Greater Shepparton City Council, who also auspice the program.
The program welcomes all groups and individuals with a stake in the river environment to be a part of RiverConnect.
