Shepparton Sports City Master Plan
Previously called the Shepparton Sports Precinct, the re-branded Sports City is at the northern gateway to the city and it is passed by most visitors to Shepparton travelling north or south along the Goulburn Valley Highway.
The Shepparton Sports City covers an area of approximately 64 hectares, incorporating McEwen (23ha) and Hunter Reserves (17ha) and additional land to the north linking the site to Wanganui Road, an important future road link.
This study also considers the Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative site (Mercury Drive Sporting Complex) with its excellent football and community facilities, while they are not directly managed by Council.
