Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise that asphalt resurfacing night works are scheduled for Fordyce Street in Shepparton, from next week.
The works are scheduled for Fordyce Street, between Benalla Road and Gilchrist Street, as per the map included below.
The works will be completed at night and are anticipated to commence on Monday 5 February and run until Thursday night 8 February / Friday morning 9 February 2024, between the hours of 6pm and 6am, weather permitting.
Streets may be partially closed at times while the resurfacing works are undertaken. Access to businesses and properties adjacent to the works will be maintained, however some delays are expected during construction.
Detours and traffic management will be in place during the works. Council requests that motorists be aware of the changed conditions and take additional care when travelling in the area.
Council have scheduled the works as night works, so every effort will be made to minimise disruption to business operations and traffic. Council thanks residents for their cooperation.
