Council wishes to advise that asset adjustment works will be undertaken in Skene Street, Shepparton from Wednesday 14 February to Tuesday 20 February 2024.
The works will occur along Skene Street, from Knight Street to Nixon Street, between 9.30am and 2.30pm each day to avoid disrupting the school traffic. The work spaces are isolated to pits (manholes) and will require blocking two bus spaces at a time, each day, during school hours.
Skene Street will remain open to traffic throughout the works, however traffic control and speed reductions will be in place.
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to plan their journey around these traffic control measures and refrain from parking on the street while works are underway. Access to properties will be maintained throughout the duration of the works.
Council would like to thank residents for their cooperation and patience during these works.
For further information, please contact Council’s Project team on (03) 5832 9700 or email projects@shepparton.vic.gov.au.
