Greater Shepparton City Council advise that construction has begun on a concrete shared path along Balaclava Road, between Monash Street and Bourchier Street, in Shepparton.
The construction works commenced on Tuesday 11 April with planned completion by Friday 30 June 2023. Works will occur between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday, with the possibility of some weekend works.
The concrete shared paths will be installed between Monash Street and Bourchier Street to provide a safe crossing for pedestrians in the busy area.
There are no road closures required during construction however Council asks road users to obey traffic management signage during this time. Council would like to thank road users for their patience while these works are being completed.
