Come along to the Sir Ian McLennan Centre next Tuesday 2 May 2023 for a Community BBQ and Conversation Session, hosted by Greater Shepparton City Council in partnership with Emergency Recovery Victoria, Wellways, Goulburn Flood Recovery Service and Mooroopna Football Netball Club.
This is an opportunity to share your flood experience and hear from natural disaster preparedness and recovery consultant, David Younger. The event will include a sausage sizzle and kids’ activities.
David Younger is a clinical psychologist who partners with communities, agencies, and local and state governments across Australia, to help them better prepare for and recover from natural disasters and emergencies.
Residents are invited to come along for a chat to celebrate the amazing community spirit shown during and following the October 2022 flood event.
It is a fantastic opportunity for the Mooroopna community to come together, share their experiences and hear from David Younger.
