Cool down your home this summer with energy expert Geoff Lodge

The session will focus on practical strategies to reduce the impact of summer heat in homes. Geoff will cover topics such as effective insulation, boosting energy efficiency and making the most of natural ventilation. Attendees will get valuable insights on how to create a more comfortable living space while also lowering energy bills.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session, allowing participants to ask Geoff questions specific to their own homes and situations. Refreshments will be provided and in-person attendees will have an opportunity to win a draught proofing kit - perfect for making homes energy efficient all year round.

Greater Shepparton City Council’s Manager Environment, Sharon Terry, encouraged residents to attend the event and secure their spot.

“This is a great opportunity to get some firsthand advice on how to create a more comfortable living space while also reducing your energy bills this summer. Greater Shepparton residents will get their questions answered from an energy expert, while receiving useful tips to practice at home,” she said.

The last energy efficiency event had a wonderful response, so this time the event will be also available online, so residents unable to attend in person can still take advantage of the valuable information provided.”
