Greater Shepparton City Council is excited to announce the launch of its new Customer Service Outreach Program. In partnership with the Neighbourhood Houses, Council’s Customer Service team will be visiting various locations throughout the region on a monthly basis to assist local residents with Council related enquiries.
In Summary
The mobile customer support program is being implemented to provide easier access to Council services for local residents by positioning Council staff at the Neighbourhood Houses across Greater Shepparton. Customers can speak with Customer Service staff directly, make enquiries and payments, and log requests without having to travel into Council Offices.
Council’s Director Corporate Services, Chris Teitzel, said the Outreach Program is a direct result of feedback from our local community, particularly from community members residing in our surrounding towns.
“The launch of the Customer Outreach Program marks a significant step forward in our commitment to listening and responding to the needs of our community”.
Through this program, we aim to enhance communication, address the concerns and ultimately improve service delivery for our local residents. “We understand that not everyone can easily visit our main offices, and this program can assist residents to receive the assistance they need from Council right in their own neighbourhoods,” he said.
Stage 1 of the Customer Service Outreach Program is scheduled to commence on the following dates:
Following the initial phase of the program, it is anticipated that Stage 2 will see an expansion to include more locations and community events across Greater Shepparton.
For further information about the program, contact Team Leader Customer Service on 5832 9700 or email council@shepparton.vic.gov.au
