The Greater Shepparton City Council 2020-2021 Annual Report was endorsed at the October Ordinary Council meeting on Tuesday 19 October 2021 and is available to view online.
The report documents Council’s achievements and activities during the 2020-2021 financial year. It also reports against the fourth and final year of the 2017-2021 Council plan.
Mayor, Cr Kim O’Keeffe said the Annual Report highlights Council’s achievements amidst the COVID-19 pandemic that has impacted everyone within our community.
“During the 2020-2021 financial year we have succeeded in achieving most performance measures from the Council Plan. The Annual Report is not just a statutory requirement, it is a great way to identify what we are doing well and what we need to focus on in the future for our community.”
“I encourage anyone wanting to learn more about local government and get more details on the services that Council offer the community, to have a read,” said Mayor, Cr O’Keeffe.
“There are some major projects but also many minor projects of benefit to our small towns and neighbourhoods. We are proud of what we have been able to do for our community.”
“As a community we have stood together and supported each other through this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. I believe our strong connection as a community will assist with the quick recovery of our region’s economy.”
