Greater Shepparton City Council is reminding residents to secure their tickets for the upcoming A-League Women’s fixture between Melbourne Victory and Newcastle Jets, starting at 5pm on Saturday 7 February 2026 at John McEwen Reserve, Shepparton Sports City.
In Summary
This major sporting event will showcase elite football close to home for local fans and aspiring athletes. The initiative will also include a multi-day program featuring school clinics, a masterclass session and community coaching workshops for local clubs and emerging players.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, encouraged the community to embrace this exciting opportunity.
Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie, said the fixture is about creating pathways for regional players.
Delivered in partnership with Melbourne Victory and the Victorian Government, the initiative strengthens the growing connection between elite football and the Greater Shepparton community.
