Council is inviting residents to get outdoors and stay active this Autumn with the Activities in the Park program running throughout the municipality.
In Summary
This season’s program features more than 60 activities designed to get people outdoors, active and connected during the Autumn season. From fitness sessions and sport clinics to creative workshops, and family friendly events, the Autumn line-up encourages people of all ages to connect, try something new and enjoy their local surrounds.
A key feature of this season’s program is the Boot Swap initiative, delivered in collaboration with Kick It Forward and Shepparton Junior Soccer Association. The initiative aims to support local families ahead of the Winter sports season by redistributing preloved football boots to children and young people across Greater Shepparton.
Council is collecting soccer, AFL and rugby boots in good wearable condition. Donations can be dropped off at Shepparton Sports Stadium or Aquamoves between 10am and 4pm until Thursday 30 April 2026.
The initiative will culminate in a free community Boot Swap event where families can donate, swap or collect a pair of boots.

The Autumn 2026 Activities in the Park program will see popular favourites return alongside new experiences for children, young people, families and older adults, offering a mix of active outdoor sessions and relaxed community gatherings across the region.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali said the Autumn program plays an important role in keeping the community active and connected beyond the summer months.
“Autumn is a great time to get outside and enjoy what our region has to offer,” he said.
For updates on the activities, residents and visitors can get their copy of the program flyer by visiting the Activities in the Park website or following Activities in the Park on Facebook.
