Applications for the 2023 Greater Shepparton Seniors Festival Grants Program open on Thursday 1 June 2023. Funding of up to $500 is available per successful application to support community groups and not for profit organisations to plan and deliver to support events and activities held during Seniors Festival. Grant applications will close on Friday 30 June 2023.
The Greater Shepparton Seniors Festival Grants program supports a range of activities and events that have a particular focus on seniors in our community.
The annual Greater Shepparton Seniors Festival will run for the month of October as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival. The Festival aims to create opportunities for connection through fun, social activities for the senior members of the community.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, encouraged residents to apply.
“We love seeing senior members of our community engaging in activities that increase and create connections, whilst having fun and being social,” he said.
“We also encourage local community groups to host events and gatherings. We want to see as many seniors connecting with each other and having a good time.”
Funding is provided on a one-off basis to a maximum of $500 per grant. Applicants must be based in Greater Shepparton. The proposed project should be able to demonstrate broad community benefit. Funding will not be provided for capital works of any nature.
To access the full criteria and application process, please visit our grants and funding page.
Applications can be logged via Council’s grant application portal
