Wednesday 12th of November, 2025,
Greater Shepparton City Council is preparing to spread festive cheer with the launch of ‘A Wonder Filled Summer’ campaign.
In Summary
A Wonder Filled Summer campaign will bring festive decorations, events and family activities to towns across Greater Shepparton throughout December.
Highlights include the Greater Shepparton Christmas Trail, with returning favourites and new displays such as Leeroy the Teddy Bear, Celine the giant bauble and Bernard the Gingerbread Man.
Launch events will be held at Victoria Park Lake on Friday 28 November and at Mooroopna’s Ferrari Park on Saturday 29 November, featuring free activities, food trucks and live entertainment.
The campaign also includes Santa on the Move pop-ups, live music, community gift wrapping, and Santa’s Mailbox for children to post their letters and receive a reply from Australia Post.
The campaign will see towns across Greater Shepparton come alive with festive decorations, community activities, and opportunities for residents to shop local, explore the Christmas Trail and take part in family-friendly fun throughout December.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, said the campaign continues to grow each year, bringing the community together through shared celebration and local pride.
“Christmas is such a special time of year, and our campaign captures that magic while showcasing the creativity and community spirit of our region,” he said.
“We are encouraging everyone to explore the Christmas Trail, support our local businesses and enjoy the many free activities happening across Greater Shepparton.”
