Greater Shepparton City Council is excited to announce that its rural outdoor pools in Mooroopna, Merrigum, and Tatura are officially open as of Saturday 30 November.
In Summary
With warmer days ahead, it is the perfect time to get outdoors, cool off, and enjoy these fantastic facilities. The pools offer a safe, family-friendly space for swimming, relaxation, and making memories with loved ones.
Aquamoves Centre Manager, Steve Wilson, expressed the importance of supporting our outdoor pools and the impact they have on our community.
“We are fortunate to have our rural pools, which provide fantastic spaces for families and friends to connect, stay active, and create lasting memories. They play a vital role in bringing our communities together and offer a safe, enjoyable environment for everyone,” he said.
“I encourage people in our small towns, as well as those in Shepparton, to take full advantage of these wonderful facilities this season.”
Council encourages everyone to make the most of the summer season by visiting their local pool. Whether you are interested in doing laps, or just relaxing by the water, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The popular Summer Family Pool Membership also returns, offering a great way to enjoy unlimited access to all three rural pools, as well as the indoor and outdoor pools and Splash Park at Aquamoves, for up to five months. For $310, a group of up to five people can take advantage of this membership, with the option to add more people for an additional cost. Terms and conditions apply.
The rural outdoor pools will remain open until the second weekend in March, with the final day of the outdoor pool season being Monday 10 March 2025.
For more information about the Summer Family Pool Membership, other access options and opening hours, visit the Aquamoves website.
