The Victorian Government and Greater Shepparton City Council are inviting you to have your say on a new plan which aims to build thousands of homes and create thousands of jobs.
The Victorian Planning Authority has prepared the draft Shepparton South East Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) which will provide land for housing, community infrastructure and jobs, and continue to strengthen Shepparton’s place as a centre for regional growth in Victoria over the next 20 years.
The plan will provide for up to 2,500 homes to accommodate a population of more than 6,000 across the approximately 385 hectare area.
Click here to read more about the plan and have your say. Consultation closes on 15 March 2024.
Shepparton South East is one of 21 priority projects identified which aim to deliver more than 60,000 homes and 60,000 jobs across Victoria as part of the Victorian Government’s Housing Statement.
These 21 projects aim to deliver a sustainable supply of land, and more jobs, while increasing housing choice in all parts of Victoria.
