Greater Shepparton City Council has commenced conversations for the Council Plan 2025 – 2029, and is continuing to seek ideas and feedback from the community to help determine the priorities for Council for the next four years.
In Summary
Through this process, Council wants to hear from those who live, work and play in Greater Shepparton about the services, programs and projects that matter to them the most.
In addition to an online survey available via the Shaping Greater Shepp website, Council is hosting four pop-up sessions throughout Greater Shepparton on Friday 9 August and Saturday 10 August 2024.
The pop-up sessions to be held in Tatura, Mooroopna, Shepparton and Kialla, aim to help Council better understand what matters most to the community when planning for the future. The sessions will provide residents with a range of ways they can share their ideas and feedback, including through quick activities and written responses.
Director Corporate Services, Chris Teitzel, emphasised the importance of community input in the Council Plan development process.
"Our community’s ideas are important in guiding the future direction of Greater Shepparton," he said.
"It’s a great opportunity to have a direct impact on the future of our region. We encourage you to attend one of these sessions if you are available."
The survey is open until Friday 13 September 2024 via the Shaping Greater Shepp website.
Hard-copy surveys are available at Council’s Customer Service counter and other various locations across the region. If you require assistance to complete your submission, please contact Council at council@shepparton.vic.gov.au or via phone (03) 5832 9700.
Details of each pop-up session are included below.
