This year’s funding has been allocated to nine properties, with projects ranging from roof repairs to facade restorations. These works not only help preserve the unique character of Greater Shepparton’s built heritage but also helps to support local trades.
The recipients for 2024/2025 are:
- 33 McLennan Street, Mooroopna: Slate roof repairs ($12,190)
- 2-10 Walshe Street, Tatura: Facade restoration ($7,398)
- 815 Crawford Road, Tatura: Exterior painting and window frame repairs ($12,000)
- 102 Nixon Street, Shepparton: Damp proofing, patching, and repairs ($5,081.60)
- 72-74 Corio Street, Shepparton: Foundation stabilisation and verandah repairs ($12,000)
- 715 Midland Highway, Shepparton East: Verandah repairs and French door replacement ($12,000)
- 110 Craven Road, Tatura: Roof removal and replacement ($10,452)
- 7 Victoria Street, Tallygaroopna: Building underpinning and releveling ($6,962)
- 915 Springvale Road, Harston: Flashing replacement and remudding ($1,780)
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, highlighted the significance of the program for future generations to appreciate.
