Home for the Holidays brings an egg-citing hunt to Greater Shepparton these school holidays

Thursday 2nd of April, 2026,
Greater Shepparton City Council, through its destination brand Shepparton & Goulburn Valley, invites locals and visitors to take part in an egg-citing Holiday Hunt as part of the Home for the Holidays campaign.
Running from Friday 3 April until Sunday 19 April 2026, the interactive experience encourages participants to follow daily clues and explore locations across the region to uncover hidden codewords.
Clues will be released Monday to Friday on Shepp & GV Facebook and Instagram pages from Friday 3 April to Friday 17 April. Each clue will lead participants to one of the Moooving Art cows, where digital eggs are hidden.
Participants can scan a QR code at the cow’s location or visit the Cow Finder Map online to access the egg and reveal a codeword. There are 11 codewords available, and participants must find at least seven to enter.
Once seven unique codewords are collected, entries can be submitted via the online form before Sunday 19 April for a chance to win one of five $50 vouchers. Winners will be drawn between 2pm and 5pm on Monday 20 April and contacted directly.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, said the Holiday Hunt was a fun and simple way to get people out exploring the region during the school holidays.
“The Holiday Hunt gives people a reason to get out, follow the clues and discover something new across Greater Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley,” he said.
“It is a great way to support local businesses and attractions while enjoying time with family and friends during the holidays.”
The Home for the Holidays campaign showcases experiences, activities and offers across the region, encouraging both locals and visitors to explore more.
Council encourages residents to invite friends and family to visit and make the most of everything the region has to offer during the school holidays.
