Greater Shepparton City Council, through its destination brand Shepparton & Goulburn Valley, invites locals and visitors to join the ultimate Easter egg hunt across the region, part of the Home for the Holidays campaign.
In Summary
From Saturday 5 until Sunday 27 April 2025, community members and visitors are invited to crack the ‘clues’ to discover egg-citing surprises at participating locations across Shepparton and Goulburn Valley.
Clues will be distributed through the Shepp & GV social media channels, publishing a clue daily at 8am from Saturday 5 until Friday 11 April. Participants are required to solve the clues to discover the secret locations where they will find the eggs containing a code word.
There are a total of 7 locations. Once participants have found all 7 eggs, they must submit the code words at the Easter Hunt webpage on the Shepp and GV website before Sunday 27 April for a chance to win a ‘Monopoly: Shepparton Edition’. The winner of the Monopoly board game will be drawn on Monday 28 April and announced via the Shepp & GV social media channels.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, said Council was looking forward to seeing people get behind the activation and discover the wonderful things Shepparton & Goulburn Valley has to offer.
“We invite local residents staying home this holiday season, especially those hosting family and friends, to join the Easter hunt. Follow Shepp & GV socials, crack the clues, and go out and enjoy some of the wonderful locations and attractions available in the region,” he said.
“There are so many great experiences and fun family activities for our community to enjoy. Home for the Holidays is a fantastic campaign to encourage people to discover new things to do in their own town, consume local and activate the economy.”
The ‘Home for the Holidays’ activation is a seasonal campaign held during school holidays. Council encourages local businesses and service providers to look-out for EOI opportunities to be part of the campaign. This marketing initiative offers a valuable chance to engage with visitors and community members, showcase products and services, and get major exposure.
Council encourages residents staying home for the school holidays to invite friends and relatives to visit and explore Shepparton and Goulburn Valley.
