Greater Shepparton City Council invites the community to attend the Home Energy Efficiency Talk event with author and expert Tim Forcey, taking place Thursday 11 July 6.30pm at the Shepparton Library.
In Summary
Forcey, energy efficiency specialist and author of "My Efficient Electric Home Handbook", will be speaking about everything you need to know to save money on energy bills and to make your home more cosy and comfortable this winter.
Tim will be joined by local energy auditor Geoff Lodge from GV Community Energy, who will also be providing energy efficiency tips from a local perspective. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session where people can get answers from the two energy efficiency experts. Refreshments will be provided afterwards.
The event is free to attend, however bookings are essential via Humanitix.
Greater Shepparton City Council’s Manager Environment, Sharon Terry, encouraged residents to attend the event and get advice from the experts.
“This is a great opportunity to get some firsthand advice from experts on how you can make your home more comfortable, whilst getting your energy efficiency questions answered and learn some tips on how to save money on energy bills,” she said.
“We invite the community to attend this free event and take advantage of these experts knowledge. We are sure that the energy efficiency and home comfort advice and tips will be useful for many Greater Shepparton residents.”
