Greater Shepparton City Council’s Aquamoves facility is introducing Child Friendly Fitness Classes, to make it easier and more accessible for parents to attend.
From Wednesday 7 February 2024, the Aquamoves timetable will feature three classes where participants are welcome to bring children along.
Aquamoves have set up a special space in their group fitness studios just for kids, so they can play while participants sweat it out nearby.
Classes are available to all members and casual visits. The child friendly timetable is as follows below.

Aquamoves Centre Acting Manager, Elise White, said the idea of child friendly classes aimed to make it easier for people with young children.
“We know that physical activity is so important for overall health and wellbeing, but we also recognise that physical activity can be difficult for parents with young children that need supervision,” she said.
“This is why we are encouraging people to utilise these child friendly classes at Aquamoves, so the kids can play and have fun while you get a workout in.”
