Greater Shepparton City Council will host a range of activities every Saturday in the Maude Street Mall.
Kids Space returns to the CBD on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, alternating with Live Music Saturday’s on the 2nd and 4th weekend of each month.
The initiatives to bring activities back in the CBD comes as Greater Shepparton City Council begins delivering select, COVID safe events again.
Director Sustainable Development Geraldine Christou says it’s a great initiative for families in the region.
“Previously, we hosted Kids Space in the Maude Street Mall. The activation was put on hold due to COVID. We are very excited to be bringing Kids Space back to the Maude Street Mall in a COVID safe way. It’s a fantastic activation that encourages creativity and hours of fun for the kids.”
“We are also launching Live Music Saturday’s. After the recent success of Roving Music in the CBD, we are excited to bring live music back to the Mall. Artists will perform in the Maude Street Mall from 10am – 2pm on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. It’s a great way to get the wonderful talent of the Shepparton Region involved,” says Ms Christou.
Kids Space and Live Music Saturday’s are free and run from 10am – 2pm on their scheduled weekends in the Maude Street Mall.
