Greater Shepparton City Council encourages community members and visitors to save the date and enjoy the last days of summer at the Summer City Market, on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 February 2025.
In Summary
The market is scheduled to take place at the Maude Street precinct in Shepparton CBD, on Friday 21 from 10am to 6pm and Saturday 22 from 9am to 3pm. Community members are invited to enjoy special sales at the local shops, as well as market stalls, live music, delicious food and kids’ activities.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, expressed his excitement at the markets return.
“The market offers a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together and enjoy the final days of summer while supporting local businesses and vendors,” he said.
“I encourage everyone to join in, shop local and make the most of this exciting event in the heart of our city.”
Council’s Place Manager, Bonnie McIntosh, said the Summer City Market is the perfect occasion to activate the economy and create opportunities for businesses in the precinct to connect with the community.
“We are looking forward to visitors and locals taking advantage of the special deals and engaging with local vendors. This a great opportunity for businesses to promote their products and services and connect with the community,” she said.
“We encourage everyone to join the activities and entertainment taking place across the two-day event. There will be giant games, face painting and an interactive animal display for the kids to enjoy, as well as live music and great shopping opportunities.”
Greater Shepparton Business Network President, Stephen Schneider, invited all traders and shoppers to participate and enjoy the activities and bargains available at the market.
“The Greater Shepparton Business Network encourages all traders to get behind this iconic Shepparton sale event. The Summer City Market provides traders from all retail sectors with a perfect opportunity to offer local and visiting consumers exceptional end of season clearance bargains,” he said.
Residents are encouraged to get out, shop local and enjoy the great promotions and entertainment on offer across the CBD.
