Greater Shepparton City Council is pleased to support FamilyCare’s Gift Tree initiative for 2022.
All gifts donated are delivered to local children and families in need just prior to Christmas, to make this time a bit more special for them.
A tree has been placed in the customer service area at Council's Main Office at 90 Welsford Street, Shepparton, for people to leave donated gifts.
The idea is for people to collect a tag from the tree (with the age of a child) and use it to help purchase a gift and then return to place it under the tree. The presents do not need to be wrapped and don’t necessarily have to be matched to a tag.
During the week of 19 December, the gifts will be delivered to the families FamilyCare are currently supporting to help provide them with a brighter Christmas.
If you have any questions please feel free to speak with any of the customer service staff. Thanks for supporting those in need over the Christmas period.
