Greater Shepparton City Council is proud to present Youth Fest 2025, a month-long celebration featuring free activities for young people across the region, running throughout September.
Youth Fest, formerly known as Victorian Youth Week, has evolved into a dynamic program of youth-led and youth-focused events designed to support young people aged 12 to 25. The festival is open to all and offers something for everyone to enjoy, no matter their background or experience.
Youth Fest aims to strengthen the wellbeing and connection of young people in our community, by providing safe, welcoming spaces to meet others, express themselves and learn something new.
The program will feature a variety of events at various locations throughout Greater Shepparton, with each activity designed with young people at the centre. Some program highlights include Mosaic Festival, a cultural youth festival featuring live music, virtual reality sessions, 3D Printing, a young artist competition and more.
Greater Shepparton Youth Fest 2025 is being delivered in partnership with local youth organisations, Council departments, GV Libraries and Victorian State Government’s Amplify program.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, said Council was proud to champion the voices of young people through this initiative.
“Youth Fest is about giving young people a reason to get out, have fun and try something new. From live performances and digital technology to art workshops and social catch ups, there’s something for everyone,” he said.
