Construction will include new pavement and spray sealing, clearly defined line markings and traffic calming measures. Existing damaged trees will be removed, and new trees will be planted where suitable. These improvements aim to create a safer parking environment and enhance traffic flow during peak hours.
Construction details are:
- Works will commence Monday 20 January 2025.
- Completion of works is expected Monday 10 March 2025, weather permitting.
- Work hours are between 7am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
It is expected that vehicle traffic will flow both ways at restricted speeds during this time.
Access to properties will be maintained during the works, with motorists and pedestrians requested to comply with all on-site signage.
