Posted on
Tuesday 26th of May, 2026,
Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise that traffic management at the intersection of Toolamba Road and Simson Road, Mooroopna will change from Wednesday 3 June 2026.
The intersection is currently being upgraded to accommodate a B-Double-rated, single-lane, 80 km/h roundabout, with these works forming part of the GV Link Enterprise Project.
Stage 2 of the roundabout works will be completed on Wednesday 3 June. At this time, the traffic barriers on Toolamba Road will be removed and traffic will be operating in both directions through the roundabout.
Following Stage 2, roundabout completion works will be undertaken, which include the final layer of asphalt and line marking. These works will be undertaken at night on Thursday 4 June, Friday 5 June, and Tuesday 9 June, between the hours of 8pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Access to nearby businesses and properties will remain open. Motorists are advised to follow signage and take care when travelling in the area.
Council thanks the community for their patience and cooperation during these important infrastructure upgrades.
