A free and confidential service who can help with: • Assessing your overall financial situation • Exploring options on what to do if you are experiencing difficulties paying bills, fines or other debts • Providing information about the legal processes of debt collection and bankruptcy • Advocating as a third party to financial institutions and/or creditors on your behalf (if necessary) • Developing money management skills and budgeting • Providing information about the options available to you regarding debt All our Financial Counsellors are qualified professionals trained specifically to work with people experiencing financial difficulties. Financial Counsellors do not lend nor give money. These services are available within the City of Greater Shepparton with outreach to Benalla, Wangaratta, Yarrawonga and Kyabram

VincentCare’s Marian Community provides a 24/7 specialist family violence crisis service to victim survivors at risk of or experiencing family violence in the Goulburn region of Victoria, supporting victim survivors within the City of Greater Shepparton and from across the Shires of Moira, Strathbogie, Mitchell and Murrindindi. Business hours services are available 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday from purpose built offices located in Shepparton and Seymour. After hours services are available weeknights from 5pm – 9am the following day, weekends and public holidays.
